Here's another selection of Early Reggae instrumentals for your listening enjoyment that focuses on organ instrumentals. The organ has played an integral role in the development of reggae. The organ first appeared on a few ska instrumentals and grew in importance through the rocksteady era, but really came into it's own during the early reggae period from roughly 1968 through 1974 or so. Even through the mid 70's through the early 80's the organ was still widely used but eventually fell out of fashion once synthesizers became popular with JA's session musicians.
